I'd like to add an idea on top of this, rather than making a separate issue. Some emulators, while having a compatibility list, also have wikis which show a lot of information in a wiki style format. Things like GPU vendor specific issues, user benchmarks using a variety of hardware, patches for unlocked framerate/resolution, workarounds, and various info as well (save data/dlc install location) would be nice to have as well. I know that PCSX2 and Dolphin Emulator have these, and they have proved very useful over the years.
