Is there an existing issue for this?

  • I have searched the existing issues

What feature are you suggesting?

Since this is the most popular fork of Yuzu, people who used Yuzu (me included) want to migrate to this one. Unfortunately, there is no official migration guide to adapt your existing Yuzu configurations and data directories to Suyu.
Could be at MIGRATING.md or something.

I assume it might be as simple as renaming the yuzu dirs to suyu, but no idea without official instructions.

Why would this feature be useful?

Because an official set of instructions makes things generally easier. Right now there are multiple, unverified approaches scattered all over the internet and you risk potentially picking the wrong set of instructions, wasting your time at best, causing damage to saves or configs at worst.

  1. open %appdata%/yusu copy content of said folder
  2. open %appdata%/suyu paste
granted this only accounts for if you have it in standard location
for various reasons i found this to work the best or you can go folder to folder and copy but its up to you
