The following parameters are now available:
* hardeningDisable
To disable specific hardening flags
* hardeningEnable
To enable specific hardening flags
Only the cc-wrapper supports this right now, but these may be reused by
other wrappers, builders or setup hooks.
cc-wrapper supports the following flags:
* fortify
* stackprotector
* pie (disabled by default)
* pic
* strictoverflow
* format
* relro
* bindnow
Passing install_root=$out isn't a good idea because the install script is going
to pre-pend that prefix to all other paths even though these have the $out
prefix already. The resulting installation is a mess. Instead, we use the
"fake" install prefix "out" and then move all files and directories into the
right place afterward.
Instead, use the generic package override mechanism to use packages
from earlier bootstrap phases.
* Don't rely on the existence of attributes such as
`stdenv.coreutils'.
