After effa9e4045, which switched to Meson,
the Vala bindings were not built which broke Shotwell. Enabling Vala
was not enough due to a bug, though, so we have to patch it.
Provides an app to view battery and power statistics. This app is badly
documented on the web, but is in the default Fedora install; hence to
motivation to add it to Nix.
There is a bug on the glib hooker that prevents running its pre fixup
phase if it is listed before hicolor_icon_theme in the dependencies of a
derivation.
Now there are separate `xfce4.xfce4mixer_pulse` and `xfce4.xfcevolumed_pulse` attributes for PulseAudio versions of these packages, instead of relying on Nixpkgs option. Mind that xfce4-volumed and xfce4-volumed-pulse are actually two separate programs without much overlap.

wallpaper path, it would increase the closure size significantly
for smaller apps.
We could split out the org.gnome.desktop.background and screensaver
schemas but that would make the packaging unnecessarily complicated.
Instead we remove the backgrounds dependency since they are not used
(outside of GNOME) or they will be replaced by a different set by
the NixOS module. There will be no background when running GNOME
manually but that can be easily fixed.
This continues #23374, which always kept around both attributes, by
always including both propagated files: `propgated-native-build-inputs`
and `propagated-build-inputs`. `nativePkgs` and `crossPkgs` are still
defined as before, however, so this change should only barely
observable.
This is an incremental step to fully keeping the dependencies separate
in all cases.
We no longer have a separate `startkde` script; instead we patch the script
which comes with `plasma-workspace`. The primary reason to do this is that we
have not been keeping up with the minor bugfixes that the upstream script
receives. A secondary reason is: now that we support Wayland, we don't really
want to have a separate package for each session script.
