meta = with stdenv.lib;
is a widely used pattern. We want to slowly remove
the `stdenv.lib` indirection and encourage people
to use `lib` directly. Thus let’s start with the meta
field.
This used a rewriting script to mostly automatically
replace all occurances of this pattern, and add the
`lib` argument to the package header if it doesn’t
exist yet.

python bsddb3: move and update expression
...
The updated expression uses buildPythonPackage and thus installs a
wheel. Unfortunately, setting the --berkeley-db flag seems to fail.

a worthy goal to move the Python packages that are currently in
all-packages.nix into a single attribute set, but this doesn't
require moving python-packages.nix or the other changes made to that
file. The Python packages in all-packages.nix should simply be
moved to python-packages.nix, and ideally changed to use
buildPythonPackage.
